Insango concluded an obligatory reinsurance treaty for marine risks

Effective October 1, 2025, the Republican Unitary Enterprise "Belarusian National Reinsurance Organization" (the treaty leader) has provided NCO POVS "Insango" with obligatory quota share coverage for the following lines of business:

• Cargo insurance for goods transported by any mode of transport;
• Carrier’s and freight forwarder’s liability insurance;
• Hull insurance for waterborne craft (vessels);
• Liability insurance for owners of waterborne craft (shipowners).

The amount of obligatory coverage (without exercising the right of special acceptance) is 90 million Russian rubles (88.89%), with NCO POVS "Insango"'s own maximum retention of 10 million Russian rubles (11.11%) per any one risk under each line.
A distinctive feature of the concluded reinsurance treaty is the absence of Russian companies—including JSC "RNRC"—from the reinsurance panel, which enables NCO POVS "Insango" to underwrite risks without a confirmed Russian interest. The cash loss limit stipulated in the treaty is 10 million Russian rubles.
