Insango’s Insurance Operations in Q1 2026

n the first quarter of 2026, the total insured sum for risks accepted by Insango for insurance amounted to RUB 23.8 billion (approximately USD 310 million).
The main share of the insurance portfolio was generated by cargo insurance, totaling RUB 18.9 billion (79.4%), and shipowners’ liability insurance, totaling RUB 4.9 billion (20.6%).
In addition, the company concluded its first contract for construction and installation risks insurance.
The total number of insured cargo shipments in Q1 2026 was 235, while the number of vessels whose owners’ liability was insured was 6.
Grain cargoes and pharmaceuticals accounted for the largest share in the range of cargoes insured by Insango.
