NKO POVS INSANGO Concludes an Obligatory Reinsurance Treaty for Marine Risks

Effective October 1, 2026, the Republican Unitary Enterprise Belarusian National Reinsurance
Organization has provided NKO POVS INSANGO with obligatory quota-share coverage for the
following lines of business:

• Insurance of cargo transported by any mode of transport;
• Insurance of carrier and freight forwarder liability;
• Hull insurance (CASCO) of water transport vessels;
• Insurance of liability of owners of water transport vehicles (shipowners).

The amount of obligatory coverage is 100 million Russian rubles (80%), with NKO POVS INSANGO's
own maximum retention of 20 million Russian rubles (20%) per one risk for each line of business.
A distinctive feature of the concluded reinsurance treaty is that the reinsurance panel does not
include Russian companies, including JSC RNRC. This allows NKO POVS INSANGO to accept risks for
insurance without a confirmed Russian interest.
